First Annual Laredo Flag Football Championship Tournament

Team Check-In: 7:30AM

All teams are encouraged to arrive at least one hour before their first scheduled game to complete check-in procedure

Divisions (Based on Age as of January 1, 2025)

    •    10U Division

    •    11U Division

    •    12U Division

    •    13U (Junior) Division

Each team must have a minimum of 6 players and may include up to 12 players. A maximum of 3 coaches is allowed per team.

Note: Divisions with fewer than 4 registered teams may be combined at the discretion of the league.

Entry Fee and Player Certification Fee

    •    $100 per team

    •    All fees are due by July 24, 2025 at 11:55 PM (Central Time)

Teams will not be scheduled to play until full payment and player fees have been received. 

Each team is allowed up to 12 players.

Rosters must be submitted via email to: LaredoSportsLeague@outlook.com

At check-in, all players must present one of the following documents:

    •    Birth certificate

    •    State-issued ID

    •    Valid passport

Tournament Format and Rules

    •    Single elimination bracket

    •    All games will follow the USA Football 5v5 Rule Book, the same rules used for the 2028 Olympic Games

Awards and Recognition

    •    Rings and Medals for each division champion

    •    Championship Game MVP Award

    •    Tournament MVP Award

General Admission and Event Guidelines

    •    Gate Fee: Free admission for all participants and spectators

    •    Tents and chairs are allowed

    •    Coolers with drinks and water are permitted (no alcohol or glass)

    •    Clear Bag Policy: All bags must be clear for safety and security

    •    Security will be on site during the entire event

    •    Behavior Policy: Any aggressive or unsportsmanlike behavior by players, coaches, or spectators will result in immediate ejection and possible forfeiture of the game. Referees and event staff have full authority to enforce this policy.

Refund Policy

Laredo Sports League is a nonprofit organization and operates under a no-refund policy.

In the event a team cannot participate due to illness, injury, or other valid circumstances, credit may be applied to a future tournament—if written notice is received.

Player Age Eligibility

Players must meet the following age requirements as of January 1, 2025:

    •    10U: Must be 10 years old or younger

    •    11U: Must be 11 years old or younger

    •    12U: Must be 12 years old or younger

    •    13U: Must be 13 years old or younger
